Relation to gender equality targets
The University of Art and Design has committed itself to the protection of dignity at the workplace and in particular to protection against sexual harassment. See for instance the Plan for the Advancement of Women (Sections 48-51)
The objective(s) of the tool
Providing information about the legal framework, about contact points inside and outside the university as well as about appropriate responses and courses of action in the event of sexual harassment.
Description of the tool
Based on a booklet published by University of Vienna’s Working Party in 2011, the contents include definition of terms as well as details regarding responsibilities and procedures at the University of Art and Design.
How the tool works, practical experience
Distributed in large quantities, therefore relatively well visible.
